CEYLON, (Sri Lanka), Anonymous Coinage, gold aka (mas) or gold eighth staters, in base gold, 10-11th century A.D., obv. king standing holding sun symbol in left hand, other symbols in field, rev. conch and inscription with legend 'Daraka', (Codrington Plate III, 67, cf.M.828-830). Very fine, scarce. (2)
