MALAYA - PERAK, Duit Ikan, c.17th century, tin fish money, of curled tail type, (17.8 grams), rev. Chinese characters on reverse, length 38mms, (cf.Saran Singh p.194 [No.SS66], cf.examples in Spink Singapore sale 1994 lots 228-233). With grey patina, of fine style, very fine and very rare.
