CHINESE IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT, bond for twenty five pounds, sterling with interest at 4«% payable on 1st March and 1st September each year from 1898, authorised by Imperial Edict of 2nd March 1898, officially communicated by the Tsung-Li-Yamen to the British and German legations in Peking. Written in German and English, black and red on white stock, dated Berlin, 1st March 1898 and with German and English stamps, together with eight interest coupons. With quarter folds, pinholes and damage to edges. Good fine.
