PAMPHYLIA, Aspendos, (370-330 B.C.), silver stater, (10.83 grams), obv. two naked athletes as wrestlers grasping each other by the hands, between them KI, rev. slinger advancing to right about to discharge his sling, trisceles before, behind **[E]STFEDIIUS, all within dotted square, and with countermark of Persian satrap head in corner, (cf.S.5398, SNG Cop. 226). Nearly extremely fine and a rare variety, and unlisted with this countermark.
