EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IX and Cleopatra III, (116-107 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.40 grams), Alexandria mint, issued year 5 = 113-112 B.C., obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, wearing aegis, with dotted border, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on a thunderbolt, to left around PTOLEMAIOU BASILEWS, LE to left, **PA* to right, (cf.S.7921, Sv.1666). Bright, nearly very fine.
