PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates I, (c.171-138 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.61 grams), issued year 174 = 139-138 B.C., Seleucia on the Tigris mint, obv. head of Mithradates I to right with short beard, wearing a diadem, rev. Naked Herakles standing to left, holding club, lion skin and cup, four line Greek legend two each side, **DOR* in exergue, (S.7325, Sellwood 13.5, Shore 37 [this coin]). Fine and toned.
