PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates II, (123-88 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.75 grams), Rhagae mint, obv. medium bust to left with beard, wearing tiara with star in centre, torque ends in dot, rev. archer seated right on throne, six line inscription, (cf.S.7373, cf.Sellwood 29.1, cf.Shore 102). Recut on tiara, other tooling, otherwise nearly very fine.
