PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Phraates IV, (c.38-2 B.C.) silver drachm, (3.06 grams), Laodicea mint, obv. medium size bust wearing a diadem to left with short beard, star before and eagle behind head, rev. archer seated right on throne, seven line inscription, monogram circle over **L* below bow, star behind archer, (cf.S.7473, Sellwood 53.5, Shore 295 [this coin]). Nearly extremely fine and very rare.
