CONSTANTINE I, (A.D. 307-337), AE folles, issued 335 A.D., Arles mint, (2.645 grams), obv. rosette diadem bust to right draped and cuirassed of Constantine I, around CONSTANTI NVS MAX AVG, rev. two soldiers each with spear and two standards, around GLOR IA EXERC ITVS, in exergue PCONS[T], palm branch between standards, (cf.S.3951, RIC 387 [R4]). Attractive dark geen patina, extremely fine and very rare mark.
