SHAH JAHAN I, (A.H. 1037-1068, A.D.1628-1658), round Gold mohur, (10.9 grams), struck at Patna mint, issued A.H. 1047 (A.D. 1637-8), Regal Year 21, obv. Kalima, square borders with radiating line corners, margins as usual, date not present, rev. Shah Jahan within square with radiating line corners, mint in left margin, Regnal year in square, (cf.Indian Museum Calcutta 856, cf.KM. 260.14). Good very fine, very rare and an unpublished date.
