WILLIAM I, (1066-1087), silver penny, profile/cross and trefoils type, London mint, issued 1080-1083, obv. crowned diademed bust to right with sceptre, rev. cross pattee with annulet in centre, voided trefoil in each angle, around +PVLFRIC ON LVN (Wulfric of London), (S.1256, North 847, BMC vii, Br.VII). Flan crack on obverse, otherwise good very fine and rare.
