GEORGE III, pattern halfpenny, 1788, (late Soho issue), by J.P. Droz [probably struck by W.J. Taylor], in bronzed copper, D.F. on truncation, rev. Britannia seated on globe to left, ship's rudder and palm branch in exergue, edge RENDER TO CESAR etc., (Peck 966). Brilliant as struck, FDC and rare.
