LYCIA, Lycian Dynasts, Mithrapata, silver stater, (380-375 B.C.), (9.84 grams), obv. forepart of roaring lion to right, rev. head of dynast left, around **ME)(PP[GP]TP, trisceles behind, all within incuse square, (S.5225, SNG von A. 4236-7, Morkhom and Olcay 'The Coin Hoard from Podalia', (in Num.Chron), Nos. 51-56, [dies A2/P3]). Nearly extremely fine and very rare.
