HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 134-138, (27.28 grams), obv. laureate bust of Hadrian draped to right, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, rev. AFRICA around, S C in exergue, Africa, wearing elephant trunk on head, reclining to left, holding scorpion and cornucopiae and resting left elbow on rock, in front a basket of corn, (S.1101, RIC 840, C.142). Even brown colour, nearly very fine and rare.
