MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), AE sestertius, issue struck at Rome in A.D. 177-8, (19.42 grams), obv. M AVREL ANTONI NVS AVG TRP XXXII, bust laureate to right, draped and cuirassed seen from behind, rev. around FELICITAS AVG IMP VIII COS III P P, S C in field, Felicitas standing to leff, holding caduceus and sceptre, (S.1428, RIC 1228, C.184). Legend weak in places on reverse, attractive green patina with a few red spots, very fine/good fine and rare.
