MACRINUS, (A.D. 217-218), AE as, Rome mint, issued 217-218, obv. laureate cuirassed bust of Macrinus to right, around traces of legend, rev. SECVR[ITAS TEM]PORVM SC across field, Securitas standing legs crossed, holding sceptre and resting elbow on column, (cf.S.2059, RIC 204). Green patina, good fine portrait, otherwise nearly fine and rare.
