MAXIMINUS I, (A.D. 235-238), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 235-6 (24.71 grams), obv. laureate bust of Maximinus to right, around IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around VICTORIA AVG, Victory advancing to right holding wreath and palm, S C across field, (S.2356, RIC 67, C.100). Very fine with attractive green patina.
