MAGNIA URBICA, wife of Carinus, (A.D. 283-285), billon antoninianus, issued Rome mint, (3.75 grams), obv. diademed and draped bust to right of Magnia Urbica on crescent, around MAGN VRBICA AVG, rev. Venus standing to left holding helmet and sceptre, around VENVS VI CTRIX, in exergue K crescent AS, (S.3490, RIC 343). Attractive brown patina, weak in places, good very fine and rare.
