MAXIMIANUS, (A.D. 286-305), silver argenteus, Siscia mint struck as Augustus 294-5 A.D., (2.92 grams), obv. laureate head to right, around MAXIMIA NVS AVG, Rev. around VICTORIA SARMAT, the four princes sacrificing in front of a camp gate, nothing in exergue, (cf.S.3605, RIC 34b, RSC 550b). Struck on a large flan, attractive tone, FDC and very rare.
