MAXIMIANUS, (A.D. 286-305), silver argenteus, Carthage mint, struck as Augustus c.300 A.D., (3.08 grams), obv. laureate head to right, around MAXIMIANVS AVG, Rev. in two lines XC VI, all within laurel wreath, (S. 3607, RIC 15b, C.698). Struck on a large flan, attractive tone, extremely fine and very rare.
