THE ROYAL BANK OF AUSTRALIA, one pound, Sydney 184-, imprint 'W.H. Bruce Engraver and Printer, Trump Street, King Street, Cheapside', unissued note form (cf.MVR fig 217 and Nicholson Sale Lot 1601). Creases, centre holes and minor tears otherwise fine and extremely rare.
This and the next lot are recently discovered examples of these interesting notes with interest bearing feature and counterfoil margin on left hand side that were issued by the Bank founded by Ben Boyd of whaling fame.
