AL-SULAYMAN (A.H. 96-99) (A.D. 715-717), silver anonymous dirham, Javy mint (old name for Isfahan), A.H. 98 = A.D. 717, (A.131, BMC -, W. Ties 13), Full flan, nearly extremely fine and very rare.

In St.Petersburg both Tiesenhausen (1873) and Markov (1898) published this issue (Tiesenhausen No.2738) and Markov (No.155). Porter in the Num. Chron. in 1921 (p.314) refers to that piece.
