AURANGZEB, (A.H. 1068-1118, A.D. 1658-1707), round gold mohur, struck at Aurangabad mint, Regnal year 13, issued A.H. 1081 (1670-1), obv. Aurangzeb name and date at type, rev. mint name on coin top row, Regnal year in bottom row, (KM.315.10, cf.BMC 702, cf.Nagpur 989, cf. Indian Museum Calcutta 1123, Panjab Museum Lahore 1999). Extremely fine with mint bloom, rare an unpublished date for this mint for this ruler.
A similar specimen was in Noble Numismatics Sale 48, (lot 1926).
