MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III (the Great), (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.01 grams), Memphis mint, issued c.332-323, obv. head of Herakles to right, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left with rose in left field, DI below throne, to right ALEXANDPOV, (cf.S.6713, Price 3971, BMC 3971a-e, Muller 124). Good very fine with obverse punch markets, scarce.
