MACEDON, Acanthus, (465-424 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.76 grams), obv. bull kneeling to left, attacked by lion to right on his back, in exergue a fish to left, rev. AKANYION around quadripartite linear square, all within incuse square, (cf.S.1364-5, Gaebler Die Antiken Munzen Nord-Griechenlaands Vol.III [AMNG] No.22, Pl. VII, 3 [different dies], cf.Desneux 100 [Pl.XV but different dies]). Extremely fine/very fine and very rare, the dies apparently unpublished
