CORINTHIA, Corinth, (350-306 B.C.), silver stater (8.60 grams), obv. Pegasus with pointed wing flying to left, q below, rev. head of Athena to left wearing laureated Corinthian helmet, to right chimaera behind, AP below, (cf.S.2629, Pegasi I, 428 [same obverse die], Ravel 1010). Attractive extremely fine and rare.
