IONIA, Magnesia on the Maeander, (300-150 B.C.), silver didrachm, obv. armed horseman prancing to the right, holding couched spear, rev. humped bull butting to left, MAGN above, LYKOMHD below, all within circular maeander pattern. (cf.S.4476, not in any major collections, Magistrate noted in Munsterberg, Beamtennnamen, (p.94), noted on small silver issue Imhoof Blumer, Kleinasiatische Munzen p.76 [no.3]). Possibly has been mounted, otherwise very fine, the type and issue extremely rare, the denomination and for this magistrate, believed unique.
