BACTRIA, Indo-Scythian, Azes, (c.57-35 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, Western Provinces workshop, (9.43 grams), obv. Zeus standing to left holding long sceptre, legend around, rev. winged Nike standing to right, holding wreath and palm, monogram in lower right field, (S.-, M.737). Brilliant, good extremely fine and very rare.

Mitchiner knew of only one specimen of this type it being in the British Museum although Whitehead recorded a second specimen, it being in his collection.
