EGYPT, Ptolemy I (323-283 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.54 grams), issued 310-305 B.C., obv. head of Alexander wearing elephant headdress to right, rev. ALEXANDPOU on left, Athena Alkidemos to right with spear and shield, HP monogram on right, above helmet, below lower right eagle to right, (S.7750, Sv.170, SNG Cop.27). Old attractive grey tone, nearly extremely fine and rare.
