MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), issue struck at Rome in A.D.177 from Autumn - December, AE Sestertius, obv. M ANTONINVS AVG GERM SARM TR P XXXI, head laureate to right, rev. around IMP VII[II COS III PP], S C in exergue, Pax standing to left, holding olive-branch and cornucopiae, (cf.S.1432, RIC 1215, C.369). Legend weak in places on the reverse, otherwise fine/nearly fine and scarce.
