VALERIAN, (A.D. 253-260), base silver antoninianus, Antioch mint, obv. radiate cuirassed bust to right, around IMP C P LIC VALERIANVS P F AVG, Hrev. Emperors Valerian and Gallienus standing facing each other sacrificing over altar, PIETAS AVGG around, (RIC 83, Cunetio Hoard 2444, S.3125). Off centred reverse, silvered, nearly extremely fine.
