Unnamed but with contemporary receipt from recipient's daughter. Enamel missing on top arm of cross on breast badge, otherwise very fine. $ Lackey, Hon. Sir John K.C.M.G.; cr 1894; b. 1830. Chairman of Committees, 1870-1872; Secretary for Public Works, 1875-77, 1878-83; Minister of Justice and Public Instruction, 1877; President of the Legislative Council, 1892-1903; Member Legislative Assembly, 1860-65; Member Legislative Council, 1885-92. Club: Warrigal, Sydney N.S.W. [died 12 Nov. 1903]
