MANUEL I (1143-1180), electrun aspron trachy, 2.73grams, struck at Constantinople mint, scyphate flan, obv. Christ bust facing, with nimbus, rev. The Virgin on right crowns Manuel I on left, wearing loros and crown, in right hand holds labarum and in left hand akakia, (S. 1957, H. Pl.13, 1 variety). Large flan, good very fine.
