MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III (the Great), (336-323 B.C.), tetradrachm, 17.0 grams, struck 325-300 B.C., Ecbatana mint, obv. head of Herakles right clad in lion skin, rev. Zeus enthroned to left, forepart of horse to left in field, (cf.S.6713, cf.Price 3899). Nearly very fine.
