THESSALY, Larissa, drachm, 400-350 B.C., 607 grams, obv, facing head three-quarter to r. of nymph Larissa, rev. horse grazing to r. (Lorber, head type 20 (No.57), 57.1 this coin, illustrated p. 280, cf.S. 2124 but finer style, with dies only known for this specimen). Slightly off centre on the obverse and short on flan on reverse, with a golden tone on obverse, extremely fine and rare.
