PROMISSORY NOTE, Charles Brown, Melbourne five pounds, (Aug 10th) 186(6). Brown print on white by Sands & McDougall Melbourne. Oval bank rubber stamp on fromt 'Australia Joint Stock Bank Deneliquin' left margin shows torn from, book as issued. Signature to note appears to be Chs H. Clarence and payee is W. Shaw. Nearly fine, unpublished and extremely rare.
