DENARIUS ROME MINT (STRUCK C. 47-46 B.C.) Obv. Diademed head of Venus right Rev. CAESAR, Aeneas walking left carrying Anchises and palladium (Craw.458/1;Syd.1013;Sear 355). Good very fine.

This type relates to the mythical descent of the Julia gens from Iulus, the son of Aeneas.
