PHILIP IV (1621-1665) COB EIGHT REALES 1651, assayer [N]. (CC Type 67, 233;Cb.102;Yr.16). Date and denomination legible, vestiges of assayer's initial visible, struck on a square flan, fine.

The attribution to Granada is based on the vestiges of the assayer's mark as well as the distinctive crown at the top of the royal coat of arms, which is only found on coins of this mint.
