HISHAM, (A.H. 105-125) (A.D. 724-743), gold dinar, no mint (but Baghdad mint), A.H. 106 = A.D. 724-5, (A.136, BMC 31). Good very fine.

ex Christie's London, 26/6/1962 (lot 59 part), and Glendining's Nov. 14 1974 (lot 358 part). Christie's catalogue notes that this coin is part of a major hoard of about 3,000 pieces found in 1954 in Assiout (Asyut), some were melted down but many found there way to Cairo where this piece was initially acquired.
