CONSTANTINE V, (741-775) with Leo IV (from 751), solidus, Constantinople mint, issued 757-775, Class II, obv. facing busts of Constantine V and son Leo IV, each crowned bust facing wearing chlamys, cross above, rev. Facing bust of Leo III with short beard holding cross potent, Officina phi, (S.1551, DOC 2g). Graffiti scratches in field on reverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine and scarce.
