CONSTANTINE VIII, (1025-1028), gold histamenon nomisma, Constantinople mint, obv. Christ bust facing wearing nimbus, in hand the Gospels, rev. Constantine VIII, wearing loros and crown and holding labarum and akakia, (S.1815, DOC 1). Loop mount at top, otherwise extremely fine and scarce.
