MACEDON, kingdom of Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.70 grams), Amphipolis mint, issued posthumously 323/2-316/5 B.C., obv. head of Zeus laureate to r., rev. naked youth or small man (Philip II), on horseback to r., crown below in field. (Le Rider Pl.46, 14, cf.M.218, cf.S.6680). Chips in edge, otherwise very fine.
