SYRIA, Seleucid kingdom of Demetrios I, (162-150 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.91 grams), Antioch mint, issued 152 B.C., obv. small head of Demetrios I to r., with diademed, rev. Tyche seated to l., on throne supported by winged monster, holding baton and cornucopiae, (Newell SMA 113, S.7015). Some surface corrosion otherwise very fine.
