SYRIA, Seleucid kingdom of Alexander I (Balas), (150-145 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.00 grams), Antioch mint, obv. head of Alexander I to r., with diademed, rev. Apollo seated to l., on throne holding arrow and bow, (Newell SMA 176, cf.S.7035). Off centre both sides, attractive portrait and very fine.
