THRACE ISLANDS, Thasos, (after 148 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.91 grams), obv. head of young Dionysos wearing ivy wreath to r., rev. Naked Herakles standing facing head to l., holding club and lion skin, (BMC 74, S.1759). Very fine.
