LAELIANUS, (A.D. 269), antoninianus, Cologne mint, obv. laureate and cuirassed bust to r., rev. Victory advancing to r., holding wreath, (RIC 9, Gilljan 20 dies VII/11, S.3151). Somewhat porous flan, nearly extremely fine/extremely fine and very rare.
Gilljan reports less than 200 known specimens of this emperor, in his detailed study of the series on all the reported specimens.
