SIR JOSEPH BANKS ET AL, Commission and appointment of Sir Joseph Banks, Sir George Clerk, and others to establish a uniform set of weights and measures for use throughout the Colonies, issued 10th June, year 58 of George III (1818), this affixed with blue duty seal for Ã…â€Å‣1.10.0. and royal privy seal in wax of King George III, framed and glazed both sides, 60 x 80 cms., together with three (3) copper harvest measure jugs of this time (early 19th century), for a gill, one and a half gill and a half gallon each stamped with official measure on the side of each vessel, (4)
