SEABY B.A. & Glendining & Co, London, Catalogue of a Sale of Greek and Roman Coins, No.2, 15-17th July 1929, (32 plates, 47pps, 1134 lots), with valuation list bound within. Contemporary Hard bound board, some pages upside down, otherwise very fine and scarce.
Important catalogue for Ancient coins, this was an attempt by Seaby to copy the style of the famous Ars Classica sales of this time. The plates are superb, from plaster casts of the coins.
Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price. All bids are executed on the understanding that the Terms & Conditions of sale have been read and accepted. For information on grading and estimates please refer to the Buying at Auction advice.
