ATTICA, Athens, 449-413 B.C., silver tetradrachm, (17.19 grams), obv. head of Athena Parthenos to right wearing crested Athenian helmet, rev. owl standing to r., on amphora, bee in right field, variant with mispelling in Magistrate's name, (Thompson 715d [THIS COIN and illustrated], cf.S.2556). Some minor surface and edge porosity, otherwise nearly very fine and apparently unique.
