HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), denarius, Rome mint, issued 134-138, obv. bare head to r., rev. NILVS, Nilus reclining to r., with cornucopiae to left, crocodile below, hippo on r., (RIC 310, S.1092). Attractive dark tone, very fine and scarce.
